Notes from the director
José's Tango is a film that speaks not of war itself, but of an old age lived alongside it in memories. It is the story of a man who grew old dreaming of a world without armed conflict and much more just. But it is also a film that speaks of love, family ties, and the role of women in relation to its protagonist.
