Anna and Paul live together with their eight-year-old son Thomas on the top floor of a modern apartment building, with a breathtaking view of the city. They are literally and figuratively at the top of the social ladder. Businessman Paul has created a beacon of safety for his family, full of material wealth. His wife Anna is a preeminent expert in the restauration of porcelain, and is held in high esteem. But when their son Thomas falls inexplicably ill, the first cracks appear in their seemingly perfect lives. As Paul stubbornly tries to cling to some semblance of control, the world he has so carefully constructed, starts to collapse around them.

CINEFANTASY
Here we are with the 11th edition of CINEFANTASY-International Fantastic Film FESTIVAL. This year we received 781 films from 70 countries and gathered a great team of curators, there were 14 experts, with gender balance, from the most diverse areas of audiovisual that selected the almost 140 titles to compose our programming. Our honoree, filmmaker Neville D'almeida turns 80 in May and remains one of the most inventive myths of national cinema.
