Ego Media
Riga-based Ego Media was established in 2005 by Latvian producer Guntis Trekteris to produce documentaries and fiction for local and international audiences.

- The Man Who Saved the World - dir. Peter Anthony, 90’, 2015. A co-production between Denmark, Sweden, Latvia.

- The Hunt – a debut by dir. Andis Mizišs, 75’, 2009. Nominated for 10 National Film awards. Awarded for the Best Composer, Best Actor, Best Costumes.
- Midsummer Madness – dir. Alexander Hahn, 2007. A coproduction Austria – UK – Latvia. Director Alexander Hahn, starring Maria de Medeiros, Dominique Pinon, Tobias Moretti, Chulpan Khamatova, Gundars Abolins.

- Lohengrin from Varka Crew – dir. Viestur Kairish, 90’, 2009. Nominated as the Best Latvian Documentary in 2009. A creative a portrait of the Latvian luger, the Olympic medal winner, Martins Rubenis.
- My Mother’s Farm – dir. Ilze Burkovska-Jacobsen, 55’, 2008. A coproduction with Norwegian company Bivrost Film. IDFA Silver Wolf competition 2008. Best Latvian Documentary 2009. Best film Art of Document, Warsaw 2010. Best documentary of NRK, 2009. The protagonist of the film is the director’s mother Tale Kalna, a farmer, whom Ilze had been filming for 17 years. This very personal story about mom is at the same time also a poignant and laconic story about the Latvia’s history since the restoration of independence, about dreams and reality, about political and social changes, which affect the life of common people.
