Nostalgia for Dictatorship is a feature documentary structured into three parts that reflects the contemporary collective mentality towards communism. Most people feel nostalgic for the regime and all its perks (stable job, everybody owns a house, a good pension, frequent holidays). However, the opportunity to observe the past in a critical manner is reflected in relation to the present, when politics mostly do not meet people’s expectations.
